In college, one of my favorite classes was “17th century English Literature”. I’m such a dork, I’m not even embarrassed by this fact. One of the best parts of the class was reading Samuel Pepys diary. People, it’s ten kinds of awesome. I annoyed Kevin to no end on our honeymoon in London by referring to Pepys as if he was my tour guide. “Oh there’s the church where Pepys stayed during the great fire!” “Look, the pub Pepys used to go on about!” My husband is a very patient man. God love him…
